IPads for Seniors

Technology Set Ups; Interconnections with Youth Hip Helpers are available upon request!

1. An IPad is easy to set up.

IPads have an easy set up system as it is as system that is internal to the Ipad.

2. IPads have large fonts.

The biggest benefit to seniors, many of whom have eyesight issues, is the fact that they can ‘biggenize’ the print.  Print and pictures can easily be adjusted to the required size.  This eliminates the frustration of not being able to see recipes, messages and more.

3. I pads are easy to type on.

Easier to use, than a cell phone, an IPad is large enough to allow a senior to see, type on and use, in general.

4. An IPad is light and mobile.

An IPad is compact, easy to put in one’s bag and easy to place on a countertop, table or on a tray table.  Take it to the doctor’s appointment to update appointments, friend’s home to enjoy photos or to the grandkids home to record a favourite activity.

5. An IPad is intuitive to learn the basics.

Although using an IPad is simple to get started, a little instruction or bonding time with a professional, volunteer or the grandkids will make aging more comfortable and inclusive.

Give your loved one the gift of connection to others and the joyful feeling of success by giving them an IPad!
